The Union Public Service Commission released the Notification to invite applications from eligible candidates for CAPF 2017 Assistant Commandant Posts. The closing date of Application form is on 8th April 2016.  Candidates who have completed Bachelor’s Degree from a government recognized University are eligible to apply. The present chairman of UPSC is Mr. David Reid Syiemlieh. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) board conducts various exams for Civil Services like IFS, NDA, CDS, IAS, IPRS, SCRA and more.

UPSC CAPF 2017 Vacancy Details :

Vacancy Details: The job details of the CAPF 2017 notification are:

  • Name of the Organization:- Central Police Armed Forces ( CPAF)
  • Name of the Departments: – BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB
  • Name of the Examine body: – UPSC Board
  • Post Name:- Assistant commandants
  • Vacant post:- 270 seats

Eligibility Criteria :

The eligibility criterion is the primary factor which considered in the recruitment. These criteria make sure whether you are eligible for the competitive examination or not. Before rolling into the application form let us check out the CAPF 2017 eligibility criteria.

Qualification Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a government recognized Institute or university.
Nationality A citizen of India (mandatory)
Age Limit Candidates must have age between 20 (lower age limit) and 25 (Upper age limit) as on 1st August 2017.
Gender Eligibility Male/Female both are eligible to apply for the posts of Assistant Commandant in CRPF, CISF, SSB, BSF. However, female candidates are not eligible to apply for ITBP.
Medical The candidates must have to satisfy the medical standards made by the CAPF.

CAPF 2017 Application Form :

Application Procedure: –After the official announcement for UPSC CAPF Exam 2017 interested candidates is moving towards filling the Application form from the official website of UPSC. The CAPF application form will be available online, and the applicants have to apply in online mode. The last date of application form is 5th may 2017.

How to apply?

  • Visit the official website of UPSC.
  • Select the notice “CAPF 2017 application form” from the panel.
  • Fill the application form for CAPF 2017.
  • The application procedure split into two parts- Part I and Part II.
  • The applicants have to choose the post and then enter all the details that required.
  • After this part I registration applicants will provide a registration number & password.
  • Before clicking the submit button, revise the form carefully.

*The applicants have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature in specified format and size.

Application Fee :

To complete the application procedure, the candidates must have to pay Rs.200/- as application fee in the Part-2 of the application form, and the application fee exempted for female/SC/ST candidates. Fees can be paid in cash or through net banking. In net banking, the application fee can be paid through SBI or Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit card.

Exam Pattern :

•    Personal interview: In this stage, the candidates selects by their personality and behavioral knowledge. This round is to test the character of the candidate.Those students who get shortlisted in the written examination followed by the medical test will get a chance for the interview round.
